Cookie cutter cookies
and our weekend away
We took a weekend trip to a charming little town called Bellingen, just a few hours drive from home. It wasn’t the first time I’ve visited and reminds me a lot of New Zealand with its big clear river and a busy main street with charming buildings, great food and unique shops. If you are visiting, make sure to visit Bruno’s for dinner and the golf club is great for lunch or dinner too. The big market is on once a month and is definitely worth checking out too!
We stumbled upon a kitchen shop and the kids persuaded me to get them cookie cutters. As soon as we got home, Digby was keen to bake cookies. If you don’t have a cutter, just use a knife to cut any shaped cookies you like.
The Airbnb we found was an unexpected gem. It was surprisingly much better than I had imagined and I love those surprises. I also appreciate staying in homes filled with personality and character rather than those purely set up for Airbnb. It was simply perfect and I can’t wait to go back.
