Fennel gratin

One dish for two meals

This is a delicious way to eat fennel. I made it on a rainy afternoon to accompany my Greek lamb. It takes a bit of time to caramelise the onions but the sweetness of them compliments the fennel so nicely. If you have and leftovers you can turn into a pasta sauce the next day.
