My most useful kitchen items

in our shed

At the moment, we live in an old shed that was once used as a horse stable. For now, it serves us just fine, and the kitchen we have just added some storage on the walls, some curtains over the sink, and a big stainless steel kitchen island for extra bench and storage space.

We bought a dishwasher for $50 from Marketplace 6 years ago, that has never once had an issue; it’s life-changing if you’ve got kids. I did buy this oven new when the old one stopped working. I decided on this one because it said it didn’t get hot on the outside when the oven was on, which was important to me since we have young kids. You don’t need a fancy or big kitchen with lots of equipment to make good food. Just have a few good-quality things, and they’ll last you forever.

Below is some of my most useful items in the kitchen and the brands of them or where to find them. I’ll add more as I think of them and hope you find it helpful.
